Tuesday 26th July – bike **** – Early morning short two rivers, Orwell to the Deben – sunny periods but cooler.

I joined Mag on her early morning bike ride and we were down on the prom at 6.15 with the sun pecking out from behind some interesting clouds. Not many people about as we whizzed to Landguard stopping by the River Orwell as a small fishing boat and a few yachts headed out with the sea verry flat with light winds from the north! Back through the nature reserve with rabbits everywhere returning to the prom which was busier now with mainly dog walkers and the usual open water swimmers making the most of ideal conditions. We continued to The Fludgerrs where Mag turned for home while I carried onto Felixstowe Ferry which was quiet all the way! My usual walk around the boat yard and got some nice pics of the blue sky with some wispy clouds before taking the still bumpy Deben path to Kings Fleet, taking Marsh Lane back to the woods at The Grove and home after being out nearly two hours. Then breakfast, exercises and visiting an old fiend for a cuppa and cake in her front garden being cloudy now it is a tad cooler than of late!
